Welcome back to the Elm Tree Quiz online for our latest quiz, available from 8pm on Wednesdays.
Do let us know if you’re enjoying the quiz!
Welcome to the Elm Tree Quiz for Wednesday 9 June. This will hopefully be the last online-only quiz.
As from next week, i.e. from 9pm on Wednesday 16 June, the quiz will be back in the pub and we hope to see you there.
For the time being, the quiz will take place indoors and not in the garden area, so teams may want to get there early to guarantee a table. You will of course need to ensure that you abide by COVID regulations and guidance applying at the time. So presently that means a maximum of six people or two households per team. There will invariably be a few small differences, such as collecting answer sheets rather than queuing at the bar. Plus, please remember to bring some £1 coins for the entry fee, although that may be subject to review.
For those of you unable to get to the pub, fear not, the quiz will still be available online. But from next week it will be posted on Thursday evenings. If you really want to impress your friends, come along on Wednesday then take part online on Thursday – that’s on your conscience!
In the meantime, enjoy tonight’s quiz!
All the best
The current book of the moment is The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter.
