The (Book of the) Moment of Truth

Very enjoyable night at the Elm Tree last night, which included resolving the choice of the next Book of the Moment.

There was a resounding vote in favour of the classic coming-of-age tale The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, with Jules Verne’s public transport epic Around the World in Eighty Days a strong second.

To strike the right balance between anthropomorphic lagormorphs, voracious larvae and Foggy frolics, we will have 2 more weeks of Peter Rabbit, then 2 months of the Caterpillar followed by a longer period for Jules. That should give you time to read it! Spoiler alert: he travels east!
